Therapeutic Massage & Acupuncture

We are pleased to offer as many options as possible to keep your loved one happy and healthy. This is why we include alternative therapy services, so your pet can benefit from natural pain relief. Acupuncture is an excellent tool in helping your companion enjoy a more comfortable life. Best of all, it's natural, so there’s no risk of harmful side effects that pharmaceuticals can sometimes cause. This makes it particularly favorable for senior pets who don’t do well with medications due to limited body functions over time.

Traditional Chinese Veterinary Massage (Tui Na) is a supplemental service to the therapeutic laser and/or acupuncture and can greatly reduce the stiffness and pain associated with arthritis and degenerative joint disease. We perform the massage on a therapeutic mat while your pet is relaxed and comfortable. Some of the techniques can be taught to pet owners to perform more regularly at home.

In addition to both acupuncture and Tui Na, we can provide herbal formulations for a variety of medical conditions when owners want alternatives to traditional medications.

Dr. Young provides both Tui Na and acupuncture appointments for our patients, and Dr. Stevenson provides acupuncture appointments for our patients.

Do you have an appointment scheduled with us already? Download the pre-visit questionnaire to submit ahead of time so that we can better prepare ourselves for your pet’s visit!
